The discussion also covered how iOrbit keeps healthcare technology affordable for budget-constrained hospitals through a flexible, cost-effective hub device and cloud infrastructure, and how its vendor-agnostic, multi-protocol platform solves common interoperability challenges between medical devices from different manufacturers. On data security, the team highlighted their approach to building HIPAA and GDPR compliance directly into the platform's architecture, along with rigorous third-party testing and penetration testing before deployment.

With a team of around 100 employees - roughly 90% engineers - spread across offices in Bengaluru, Pune, and Thiruvananthapuram, along with global offices in the Netherlands and the US, iOrbit has grown entirely through organic, self-funded expansion rather than venture capital. Looking ahead, the leadership team pointed to a growing shift toward SaaS-based revenue through the iTouch platform, alongside a recent rebranding initiative and new partnerships, as the company positions itself for its next phase of growth. The team summarized their long-term mission as becoming a trusted global MedTech development partner, bringing together electronics, software, AI, and cloud to help both established players and emerging startups bring compliant, innovative healthcare products to market faster.
