As a Junior Embedded Developer, you will work alongside experienced engineers to design, develop, and test firmware for next-generation medical devices and sensor platforms. Our projects span wearables, remote monitoring systems, and smart diagnostic tools that improve patient outcomes and transform healthcare delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop firmware for IoMT devices and medical sensor platforms.
• Design and implement embedded systems for connected healthcare devices.
• Work with microcontrollers, RTOS, and real-time operating systems.
• Must have knowledge of hardware design and engineering.
• Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems and hardware integration issues using debugging tools and analyzers.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for embedded development.
• Conduct unit testing and integration testing for firmware modules and system components.
• Work with version control systems (Git) to manage codebase and collaborate with team members.
• Stay updated with IoT protocols and healthcare device standards (FDA regulations, HL7, DICOM).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 0-1 year of professional embedded systems experience or strong academic background in embedded systems.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M, RISC-V, AVR) and RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc.).
• Understanding of hardware interfaces and communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN).
• Experience with embedded debugging tools (JTAG, debuggers) and IDEs (Keil, IAR, STM32CubeIDE).
• Knowledge of IoT protocols (Bluetooth Low Energy, WiFi, Zigbee, NB-IoT, LTE-M).
• Basic understanding of medical device requirements and healthcare industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with firmware development for medical devices or regulated industries
• Knowledge of IoT protocols (MQTT, BLE) and cloud integration
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and continuous integration practices
• Experience with embedded Linux or Android development
• Understanding of digital signal processing and sensor data analytics
